| In the 1841 census James Carpenter was 58 and a ribbon manufacturer.
The only other Carpenter we have records of is Thomas James (Joseph) Carpenter who was licensee at the Bricklayers in Foleshill 1888 to 1892. As there were six other licensees between 1835 and 1888 we cannot be sure whether this Beerhouse was the Bricklayers or not. | |||
