Little Heath (Judd)

Address:Little Heath
In the 1841 census Thomas Judd was 30, a ribbon weaver in Little Heath. In 1851 he was 45, a baker and grocer in Little Heath. In 1861 he was 55, a grocer and baker at Fourteen Penny Row, Foleshill and in the 1871 census 66 and a baker on Coventry Road, Foleshill. There are a number of Judds in the website, all in central Coventry except for one. This is perhaps the best candidate for this beerhouse as in 1866 Charles Judd is licensee of the Railway in Lockhurst Lane.
