Allesley Hotel, Birmingham Road, Allesley

These premises have been known by different names during their history:FROMTONAME
ALLESLEY HOUSE
Not really a pub but included because of its antiquity. It is an eighteenth century dwelling house, now considerably altered. In 1737 it was owned and occupied by Timothy Stoughton, who also owned the Pannier, a pub which is now a private house called Gable End. We don't know when it became a hotel. In 1971 the Allesley Hotel was the meeting place of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Warwickshire (Freemasons).
