Black Horse Inn, Carpenters Lane, Foleshill

This pub is known from two references. In 1858 it was used for auctions and in 1862 it was the site of an inquest. In 1900 Carpenters Lane was renamed Station Street West - one of a dozen streets to be renamed that year to resolve the inevitable name clashes that happen whenever the city's boundary is extended.
