Blacksmiths Arms, Street not known

The blacksmith was an important member of the community in former times because he made tools in peacetime and weapons in wartime. He was something of a rural aristocrat and those who could ally themselves with a smith were glad to do so. In 1756, two soldiers were billeted here but we have no information of the address.
