This pub was advertised for sale in 1846 and is shown on the Board of Health Map of 1851. In 1851 ther licensee, James Haddon, was fined £20 for sub - letting to prostitutes and the license was withdrawn. The following year a new license was granted and the pub renamed the BATH.
