Coventry Cross, 30 Bishop Street

Established in 1823, and sometimes referred to as the OLD COVENTRY CROSS, this pub's last known reference was in the Coventry Standard, June 1855, when it was advertised as To Let with immediate possession. After this Bishop Street pub closed, the Volunteer in Cross Cheaping took on the name Coventry Cross in 1867.
