Flanker and Firkin, Cow Lane

These premises have been known by different names during their history:FROMTONAME
17651994HARE AND SQUIRREL
1994c2013FLANKER AND FIRKIN
c2013presentSQUIRREL
Photo To 1994 this was the HARE AND SQUIRREL. It then became one of David Bruce's Firkin chain, taking its beer from the brewery at the Fowl and Firkin at The Butts. In 2010 it reverted to the SQUIRREL. The name reflects Coventry's proud rugby football history, rather than its present prowess (or lack of!).
