Hare, Much Park Street

There is only one mention of this pub, in Jopson's Coventry Mercury, recorded as being for sale in 1767. It is possible that it was actually the Hare in Bayley Lane.


This is a possible hunting reference, or perhaps something to do with the animal that behaves in a most unruly fashion each march, the 'mad March hare'.
