Kings Head, 188-190 Spon Street

It is thought that these properties began as private houses and were converted to the Kings Head in the nineteenth century, later becoming shops.

One of the most popular pub names. The head usually shown on signs is that of Henry VIII but at least eight other monarchs have been shown. Sometimes there are different kings on each side of the sign board.
