| In 1733 a gentlemen's subscription match (cock fighting I believe) was to be held at John Evans at the Perriwigg in West Orchard in Coventry, on the mornings of Wednesday and Thursday the 2nd and 3rd of May. There was to be an Ordinary at the said house during the time. | |||
