1765 | 1993 | RED HOUSE, RED HORSE |
1993 | 1995 | FATTY ARBUCKLE'S |
I can only imagine that this name refers to the colour of the brickwork on the building.
The pub had a pleasure garden attached. In 1925 a music license was granted for use in the lawn and athletic ground at the Red House.
In the late 1970s and early 1980s it was owned by Hoskins brewery of Leicester.
In the late 1980s it was owned by Hoskins brewery of Leicester for a few years and after that became Fatty Arbuckle's nightclub for a while.
