I believe this name has something to do with Coventry's Civic Regalia.
The Silver Sword opened on 3rd October 1957 with the license coming from the OLD BATHS which was demolished in 1951.
In 1982 it was reported as 'popular with young and old alike and very well decorated.' By 1985 it had been recently given the treatment by Hampden Host Group with video juke boxes and purple and silver decore, revolving disco lights etc., etc.
It has since been Trinity's, The Loft from 2010, and from 2016 the Big Bamboo nightclub. | |||
