Having been the Mercers Arms since opening in 1933, in November 1994, shortly after the football club acquired the pub, it was renamed the Sky Blue Tavern. The pub appears to have been demolished in 2001. On the right is possibly the only photograph available of the pub during the short time that it was known as the Sky Blue Tavern.
