Three Kittens, St John's Bridges

This pub is only known from 1772. Firstly a model crucifix was shown there and then a main of cocks (cock fight) between the Gentlemen of Coventry and the Gentlemen of Meriden was due to be fought there. The Mayor disallowed the fight so it was held at the White Lion, Allesley, instead.
