Town Crier, Queen Victoria Road

Town Crier This pub was opened on Thursday 19th July 1990 by Banks' and was their first pub in central Coventry.
The town crier was the official, usually dressed in a robe, who made public proclamations, attracting attention with a bell and the cry 'Oyez, Oyez'. I believe this pub was named for a modern holder of the office.
