From 1845 to 1924 this was the BEERHOUSE, Hall Green, although it is still showing as a beer house on the map of Warwickshire 1936-38. Not until the map of Leicestershire 1950-59 does it appear as the Green Man (see below).
This must be a pub that adopted beerhouse status, as it dates from 1879 as a public house, was a beerhouse 1904 to 1924 and then a public house again until its closure c2010. | |||
