Anchor Tavern, Bailey Lane

The Anchor was a common sign especially used by landlords who had connections with the sea or who wished to attract seamen as customers. This pub is only known from one mention, in the Coventry Times of 29.12.1859, when its Christmas Festivities were advertised.
