Market Place And Tower From the time of its listing in the 1874 Directory, The Board in Market Place became known as the STAR VAULTS. By 1876, however, licensee James Cole had given it the name BODEGA - and occasionally advertised as the Star Vaults, Bodega. Bodega means 'wine cellar' or 'vault'. By 1886 these premises had become the BOADICEA.
