City Arms, Smithford Way

City Arms Smith Way The name comes from the Coventry Coat of Arms. This pub opened c1960 and replaced the old City Arms Hotel in Fleet Street. In 1982 it was described as a small pub in a busy shopping precinct. It closed in 1993 and was demolished to become two shop units. These were occupied by Millets and Santander.
