Until 1993 this was the HEN AND CHICKENS. In that year it became part of David Bruce's Firkin chain and had a brewery installed, which was visible through a viewing window. The brewery also supplied the FLANKER AND FIRKIN in Cow Lane. In 2001 it became the AARDVARK.
