Horse and Trumpet, Spon End

In 1756 six soldiers were billeted here. In 1762 it became a depot for wagons carrying parcels to Northamptonshire, Leicestershire and Derbyshire and in 1774 it was advertised for sale.
Probably a reference to coaching, the coach-horn being the trumpet.
