New Inn, 46 Bulls Head Lane, Stoke

Photo These inns were once new, perhaps replacing older ones on the same site. Many new inns came into being in the sixteenth century as a result of Elizabeth I's policies. In 1982 this was referrred to as a small but friendly backstreet local. Note that until recent years this was not the sole occupation of the licensee.
