In 1874 and 1879 it was called the HALF MOON, Hertford Place.
In 1930 the license was surrendered for a new off-beerhouse, the Godiva Stores in Three Spires Avenue. Could this have become the Three Spires Hotel? The half moon can be a symbol of love and romance, and also a symbol of hope and new beginnings. | |||
