Open Arms, Daventry Road

Open Arms Daventry Rd The name suggests a warm welcome, as in 'welcomed with open arms'. This pub opened on 30th March 1961 under licensees Norman and May Stock. It is typical of its time, in 1982 called 'a popular estate pub in a resedential area'. It had a spartan bar and smart lounge, which have since been knocked into one large room.
