Saint Patrick is the patron saint of Ireland. Was the landlord of Irish descent? In 1756 four soldiers were billeted here. In 1764 the pub is mentioned when a chimney blew off from an adjacent house and a woman was buried in the ruins. Much Park Street 1907.
