| In 1655 Mayor Beake reported that Rogers, Martyn and Ash were summoned to answer why they were at Ward's house, an alehouse, at 10 a clock and stayed there despite being ordered to depart three times by Mr Bedford. Was this 10 o'clock in the evening or morning? |
