Winnall, Robin Hood Road

This name is the local pronunciation of Willenhall, a local place name. In 1982 it was described as "A popular estate pub which is a bit basic." On 31st July 1998 the pub reopened, having been closed for several months due to problems with drugs and violence, but just days later closed again with no improvement in local behaviour. By the following year proposals for a medical centre to be built on the site were being made.
