Swanswell Cottage, Leicester St In the 1841 census the only Thomas Eaves is 65 and a ribbon weaver in Bishop Gate Green. In 1851 there is a Thomas Eaves aged 41 and a publican in Spon Street. In 1861 he is 51 and a victualler in Hill Street. By 1871 he is 61 and a licensed victualler at the Newdigate Arms, 11 Hill Street. This is the SWANSWELL COTTAGE, 44 Leicester Street as in 1850 Thomas Eaves is the licensee there.
