In the 1841 census Joseph Cramp is 50 and a publican in Bishop Street. By 1851 he is 54 and a victualler in New Street. In 1861 there are no matching records. Joseph Crampo ran the Black Boy in Bishop Street from 1835 to 1841. Tthere is also Wililiam Cramp at the Beerhouse, Freeth Street, in 1879. There are no other nineteenth century Cramps in the website.
