Binley Hotel, 88 Willenhall Lane
Built around 1926, this pub took its name from the surrounding area and was close to Binley Colliery, which closed in the 1960s. In 1982 it was described as a very popular estate pub and was redecorated in 1981 with some structural alterations. It used diaphragm pumps to dispense its beer, which was most unusual for Coventry. It closed in 1997 and was destroyed by fire in 1999. | |||
