Pheasant, Gosford Street

In February 1860 Peter Borrough passed the license for the Pheasant to Charles Conway, but by September the newspapers are advertising auctions to sell the fixture and fittings, and that the licensee, Charles Conway, is moving to the Sword and Mace, Earl Street. These are the only references to a Pheasant in Gosford Street, and there seems to be some connection to the Pheasant in Well Street. Gosford St 1912 Fry
