Railway Inn, 13 Fleet Street

It is thought that this pub had closed by 1874 as in that year White's Directory mentions the Newdigate Arms and Railway Inn nearby at 11 Hill Street.

The coming of the railways in the nineteenth century made a huge impact on life in Britain and this was reflected in pub names.
