Another pub also named the WINE LODGE in nearby Well Street was demolished in 1929 for the creation of Corporation Street. This new replacement pub, on the corner of Burges and the newly built street, was erected on its present site during 1928, opening in April 1929.
In 1939 it was photographed as a Trumans pub, and on 10th June 1968 it became the TALLY HO. | |||
