Stoneleigh is the ancestral home of the Lords Leigh, near the village of Stoneleigh.
The Stoneleigh Abbey, formerly the General Lee, and the Red Lion Inn stood next door to each other in Hertford Street. They were both demolished in 1878 and the Queens Hotel opened on the site the following year. | |||
